What is Overheid.nl?

Overheid.nl serves as a guide when searching for the websites of all the Dutch governmental institutions on the Internet, and for the documentation available from the authorities in the Netherlands. The web site also incorporates sites of organisations closely affiliated with the Dutch government, such as libraries, schools, and (health) care institutions. The objective of Overheid.nl is to provide simple and reliable access to all information from the Dutch government available on the Internet. The site is an initiative of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. 'Producten en diensten' is also an initiative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Requests

Overheid.nl is not suitable for use as an e-mail address for requests for information about the Dutch government's products, services, and policy. Any questions of this nature should be directed to the governmental institution responsible for the relevant field.

Obviously, we welcome any reactions to this site. Reactions can be submitted using the response form (in Dutch).
