  • Open Government Act (Wet open overheid - Woo)

    The Open Government Act (Woo) replaces the Act on public access to government information (Wet openbaarheid van bestuur - Wob). Under the Open Government Act, the council must actively disclose information. Anyone may request information relating to governance.

    An extract from the personal records database is a certificate of residence. This gives your surname, first names, address, place of residence and date and place of birth. An extract requested digitally on a working day before 12:00 hours will be sent to you by post on that same working day. Requests after this time will be sent the following working day.
